West African Mask

This mask is made of wood with some red paint on the ears and on the horns and black on the lips side of the mask and on the horns. I think this may be somesort of spirit that they belive in. This shows that in the west african society wood work is important and that it is mostly for there gods and spirits.   

Proverb

Proverb: Restless feet may walk into a snake pit.

To me this proverb mean that you would do things with care and not to fast. I think this because if you do something to quickly you are bound to do something wrong or do something carelessly. This has happened to every one I know and is a really pain.

Log #2

I think that the second book is much slower then the first book because only bad things are happening to Katniss.One example is the president Mr.Snow threatened to kill her best friend Gale and some of her family if she does not stop the revilution or up rising  on the victory tour. Another example is when Gale is getting wiped she jumps infront of him and gets wiped in the cheek. My point is the first book is muck faster pace and much easier to do connection to.

rocks, beans, paper, and anyother meririal
witrh glue.

I like this mosaic because it is simple but really

Empires

I think men are better leaders in a time of war and women in a time of peace.

Men are better in a time of war because they are better warriors and fighters then
woman because they trained at a very young age to become warriors. Men are also
better because if an invader is coming woman may start freaking out and men come keep
there cool and think about there next plan of attack.

Woman are better in a time of peace because they are very aware of the people
and what they want. Some men will do what ever they want to the people and the
empire with out taking in consideration of what the people want. Men are also
more likely to become dictators after being in power that long without being apposed.

Woman and men have both in impotent part in a time of war and peace.
